Journey to Green Horizons Comicbook

The comic book you´re holding in your hands or claws – depending on which form of being you´re right now -, is a unique collective work of around 100 educators, students and illustrators from 6 different countries. These people gathered around the topic of agroecology together and tried to grasp it in a creative and enjoyable way. The educators – as boring as they might be – brought to the process the content: the issue of agroecology in its broad sense and all connections. The students then translated this content into the stories’ creative sketches that depict their (mis)understanding of agroecology. These sketches were then grasped by professional storytellers and illustrators who gave those stories the colourful dimension of the comic book. Grateful to the enthusiasm of all the teenagers, we were presented with an abundance of content to select from. While some stories didn’t make the final cut, we’d like to share some heroes who played significant roles in those narratives! You can find those heroes at the end of the comic book and we sincerely hope you enjoy these characters as much as we did while bringing them to life.
