ViVid Liveability
What Liveability Means for ViVid
Liveability helps networks become more participative and inclusive and also helps them retain their social capital and workforce. It also enables networks to become healthier working environments. Liveability fosters a greater sense of purpose in the community and promotes active citizenship and well-being for all actors in the network.
Liveability in the Networks Supporting Agriculture
Building and maintaining long-term liveability within LSPA networks requires commitment and work. However, it also provides the network with the strength and resilience needed to address contemporary challenges, both social and environmental, and gain momentum to build on the goal of achieving sustainable food systems.
To encourage participation, inclusion and equality; to understand how stress builds and emerges and impacts on work; and, to learn how to implement wellbeing measures inside your network, we designed this training to focus on three main topics:
- Keywords: Build a Common Language
- Power Relations
- Care
Inside each module you can find the theoretical foundations, examples and a suggested exercise to start practising right away!
The Compass of Safe Space
The Compass is a tool for exploring and assessing whether a present or planned space for meeting and discussion within a network or group of people gathered for a common purpose is safe for everyone involved.
Check the the user guide to learn how to create and use your own Compass!
