Mediterranean Caravan Webinar: Building Food Communities

The webinar is intended for organic producers, but also for those who are interested in how organic farmers plan and organize their production in order to be financially sustainable in their business, how they form prices, etc. Does the true financial sustainability of the farm only mean balancing income and expenses, or is it necessary primarily invest in basic farm resources such as soil quality and water management? Our guests are successful farmers who invest significant work and effort in finding a balance between what the market demands from them and what nature demands: Željko Iličić, ecological and biodynamic producer – family farm “Biomara”, Križevci, Croatia, Pavle Đorđević, organic farmer – organic farm Organela, Valjevska Kamenica and Dorian Siljan, ecological farmer and one of the initiators of the solidarity eco group and market “Šijana”, Pula. The webinar was organized in cooperation with the Green Transition Association from Serbia and the Croatian Organica Farmers’ Associations Allance and it was held on January 19, 2023. as part of the Erasmus + project: “Mediterranean caravan: learning and sharing agroecology”
